Why filtering by seller rating matters
Vinted's catalog ranking does factor in seller rating, but it doesn't let you filter by it. A new seller with one review sits next to a 4.9-star seller with 800 transactions, and nothing on the card tells you which is which.
Public analyses of Vinted transactions suggest sellers with 4.5+ stars have far higher successful-transaction rates than newer or lower-rated sellers. Rackoon lets you encode that rule and apply it to every search.
What Rackoon's seller rating filter does
- Stars + review count on every catalog card. No need to open the item or profile.
- Pick a min-stars threshold. Three presets — 3+, 4+, or 4.5+ — set your trust floor in one click.
- Combine filters. Min stars + country + max shipping + max listing age in one go.
- Sticky preference. Your threshold persists across catalog pages and sessions.
How it reads the rating
Vinted only renders the seller's star rating on the item page (and the seller's profile). Rackoon fetches the item page in the background using your Vinted session cookies, parses the rating and review count, and pins them onto the catalog card. Results are cached locally so the same item never gets fetched twice.
